Mad Barbarians at the Gate in Gettysburg


Leftists and libertarians on one side, and the supporters of Rick Santorum on the other side.  That was the more recent “Battle of Gettysburg” that I reported taking place this past Tuesday night.

It seemed to stir up quit a fuss when I reported on the recent “line in the dirt” at Gettysburg between the two sides in that battle.

It wasn’t just my opinion but the actual FACTS that seemed to be in dispute by people who weren’t even there but wanted to continue their attack – on Santorum but also on Romney and Gingrich and all conservatives – which I wrote about.  They proved my point by their response to that article.

These are the mad Barbarians at the Gate of the conservative cause we saw in Gettysburg.

These are the people who have targeted you and me just as we reach the beginning of the end of our GOP presidential primary process and the start of the Battle for the White House and the future of America.

On one side for the Rick Santorum appearance were those who either support him or those who wanted to respectfully listen to what he had to say.

On the other side out in the street were what at first glance appeared to be a crowd of leftist protestors. The mad Barbarians, trying to crash the party, to “occupy” the high ground held that day in Gettysburg, by the supporters and friends of Rick Santorum.

To seize as much of the Santorum “earned media” as possible – and they in fact, succeed in getting nearly half of all such media attention (high five’s for the mad Barbarians).

Eyewitness accounts and news media cameras both reported Ron Paul signs in that protestor street crowd.

No one has reported that Occupy Wall Street (in the main) is a hotbed of Libertarian Party and/or Ron Paul support so, I suppose, whether you like it or not, you can truthfully report – as I did – that they were together to protest Rick Santorum, and they were literally so intermingled in the street that you honestly could not tell them apart.

But I did go further in my report.  I expressed my opinion based on the facts that I reported:

The leftist-libertarian crowd hates not just Rick Santorum.  And believe me if you were there with those who provided me eyewitness reports, you’d know they were not exaggerating – the protestors really do very intensely dislike us (or go ahead and say it: HATE us).

There is no doubt of this, and hardly a surprise to anyone who has attended a Conservative Political Action Conference in the past, or watched (as did I) on TV and saw the boos from Libertarians in the room during the standing ovation for former Vice President Dick Cheney, the second most popular speaker in the history of CPAC (behind only Ronald Reagan, who the Gettysburg street people ALSO do not like at all).

No, it isn’t just Rick Santorum they hate.

They hate Santorum but also Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich.

They hate conservatives.  They hate Republicans.  They hate all of the above, far more than they hate any liberals or hate any Democrats, about whom incredibly enough, they are very silent.

But there’s more.

They hate you.

I mean the normal conservatives here at RED STATE who actually subscribe to its purposes as I do, and are here to learn or express their views in support of this cause, as I am.

They hate all the normal conservatives and while we are arguing among ourselves about our differences they are laughing because to them – that crowd in the street who represents some of the loudest people in our midst – they are full faith believers (if I dare use the word “faith” with that crowd) in the old maxim of someone most of them know nothing about – George Wallace.

And like George “not a dime’s worth of difference” Wallace of 1968, they say today’s Republicans, conservatives, and the whole “establishment” needs to be thrown out and lets start all over again, and lets knock down anybody standing in our way.

So, I suggested in my last column that you who are normal conservatives – like me sometimes pretty frustrated with what one of our rank long ago called “the stupid Party” you might need to be more careful who you associate with in the future.

Because to these allies of the left (which is what they are) you and I are also the same thing as the “Stupid Party.”  We’re all the same in their eyes.

The reason that these folks have influence FAR out of proportion to their numbers is that they spend far more time than other people with families and lives, on the internet, and they are very good students of Saul Alinsky (even if many of them learned from a teacher who didn’t bother to tell them his training source).

And they spend far more time on the attack, including personal attack, against their targets, just as their teacher suggested (Saul Alinksy of course) so they have no ground to defend and their purpose is to put YOU on the defensive.

If you have spent any time here at RED STATE as a reader you’ve noticed how they pop up with the arguments of the left even on these pages, but call themselves part of our team… but their arguments are the same, and their attacks are more often directed at conservatives than at liberals.

In other words, like the recent “battle at Gettysburg” you can’t tell “a dime’s worth of difference” between a leftist standing out there to protest Santorum, and a Libertarian or Ron Paul supporter who hates Santorum and wanted to also “protest.”  They stood shoulder to shoulder in their common cause.

How about it, men and women of Red State – shouldn’t we also stand “shoulder to shoulder”?

During the past few years I’ve noticed – especially in social media clubs and pages – that this small minority I am speaking of is 100x more active than our folks are in the internet world.

There are a number of logical reasons for that.  For one, less of them have regular jobs.  For another, more of them have hourly paid jobs where they go home and they are done – they don’t own businesses as much where you are “at work” all the time.

For another, many are younger and their parents pay the bills and instead of doing homework well, this is what they do.

Many of them have those little “smart phones” they call it.

You know – where you type with your thumbs (how smart!) instead of all 10 fingers, and you squint at a little screen about 3 inches by 4 inches (instead of my 25 plus inch monitor).  And so many do NOT use high speed cable for their internet access, nor speak in more than grunts and short messages (it is hard typing with your thumbs).

Perhaps the most innocent and innocuous reason they have an internet advantage over us is that we – the older people – paid for our kids computers, smart phones and internet access.  What library’s costs – where you can access the internet for free – was paid for by taxes from teens?

They grew up with this “free stuff” and many of our age have still not figured out why they should even CARE about this Facebook and social media thing.

But before you laugh about them too hard remember, you and I are also paying many of these youngsters to use their “smart phones” right now – some 20% of all hourly paid work hours are now used by employees to surf, send texts and emails etc. – or perhaps to post Occupy Wall Street anti-establishment rhetoric here at Red State and on Facebook.  Yes, while on company time.

And so even at conservative-Christian pages their anti-conservative, anti-GOP and Ron Paul arguments sometimes fill a page far more than those who are members of and founded that group.

And if you read the above you will understand better why so many of their “posts” are short, negative attacks which so often sound very similar – they are typing with their thumbs onto little tiny screens.  These are not, very often, very deep thinkers.

You can go to the York and Adams County parts of Pennsylvania (as I have) and easily find such Facebook pages but they are all over America.  They proclaim Tea Party, 912 or even Christian/conservative but for some of these pages, when you arrive “in their room” you find that it is full of news about the Libertarian Party, or why conservatives and/or Republicans are terrible and are all the same.

That negative, anti-conservative and/or anti-GOP stuff easily outnumbers the conservative messages at best and at worst it dominates, on so many “pages” which attracted your attention because you thought they were conservative and/or Christian oriented.

But I wish to go further and to my point:

Look at your own Facebook page and see: do you have those same people LISTED AS YOUR FRIENDS – the sort of people cheering for or using the same rhetoric as, the Occupy Wall Street/Libertarian Party/Ron Paul group out there in the street of Gettysburg this past Tuesday?

I wish you would understand: they hate us all.  It isn’t speculation. Anyone can read and see their words, even here at Red State, although very toned down.

They hate Santorum true – he is the flavor of the month they most hate currently, and he was even chastised by Bill O’Reilly recently.

The very wise O’Reilly chastised him for “falling into the trap” of allowing the media to get him to answer any social conservative questions and questions about his faith.

Any “smart politician knows” avers O’Reilly, “that the media can ask whatever they want but you do not have to answer them, you know what they are trying to get you to say.”

“Of course” says O’Reilly, “they’d never get away with that stuff with me, because this is the ‘no spin zone’ reports the very humble Irishman, a fellow humble but sometime errant Catholic.

His point is that Santorum brought his trouble on himself by stepping out into the public square and (in effect) admitting that he is a Catholic and that he would differ with Nancy Pelosi (as I prefer to put it) in NOT denouncing his own Church’s teachings.

Santorum also specifically differed with another famous Catholic, then Senator John F. Kennedy, who in 1960 said that we Catholics should silence ourselves on matters of faith when we step out into the public square (see my earlier RED STATE treatment of that, including direct quotes and analysis of what Santorum said versus what Kennedy in 1960 said).

But the point isn’t what Santorum said, or the “advice” that Catholic Bill O’Reilly offers, effectively, to follow the self-silenced Senator John F. Kennedy on the “separation of Church and state” and be silent on faith.

Nor is my main point that those protesters in Gettysburg – and the few in here too – hate that strawman they created – that Rick Santorum or the Catholics are “trying to tell us what to do.”

No.  They want us to be silenced on matters of faith, as O’Reilly and his ally, the late Senator and later President John F. Kennedy demanded.

My point is that even Mitt “etch-a-sketch” Romney’s “restart” and conversion from a “severe conservative” during the GOP primaries into a mainstream guy in the general election, even Newt Gingrich’s more skillful banter on this subject, change nothing in their eyes.

All these candidates AND YOU who support them, are the enemy.  They hate you.  They hate what you stand for.

When you offer any expression of your faith it intensifies their hate.  They want to tear you down, silence, you, humiliate you, embarrass you.

The mad barbarians in the Gettysburg street opposing Santorum weren’t there to say a single bad thing about President Obama.  They weren’t there to criticize the Democratic Senate.

Even the fool who carried a sign saying “Stop Medicaid Cuts” didn’t see the irony.

I was told that one of the conservatives on his way inside, had this fellow step in front of him brandishing his weapon, as if it would win the battle by his making such a stand.

My source reports he dryly asked, “so you oppose Obama’s recent cut in Medicaid.”  The poor fellow was totally confused.  I suppose they didn’t pay him to actually talk, just carry the sign.

At least with a Libertarian he would have talked…. or is that a disadvantage, if your purpose in being there was to go inside and listen to Santorum?

What then, is my advise to the group of us who, whether we like it or not, are in this together?

Not just advise for my fellow Rick Santorum supporters.

But to the Romney supporters, whose detractors may not have heard him say in the last 24 hours, that he will fight this President “who is crushing the dream, and the dreamers.”

Honestly, even if he did not do all that I would prefer on policy, if he wins the nomination and then does his “reset” with the etcha-sketch plan, he wins the election and then speaks like that good “We Believe in America” stuff for the next four years, wouldn’t that be a massive improvement over what we’ve had to listen to for the last three years?

The country would be far better off with speeches like that from Romney then what we have been listening to since “hope and change” arrived.

And I know those people standing out in the Gettysburg street, will be mad as heck, if they had to listen to a President Romney.  Oh you can be sure that same crew we saw in Gettysburg will be marching again if your guy wins.

To the Romney supporters, to my friends who support Newt Gingrich (whose books and movies I have read and watched and who I admire too), I suggest you keep your eye, on who our enemies are and on something very important they have to teach us.

They say, there’s no difference between us.  Romney, Santorum, Gingrich, conservatives, GOP.

While I see differences (as a Santorum supporter) and each of us may say the same thing – THEY don’t.  We are to them, ALL the enemy.

A specific example, even as I am writing this, is another attack-post from such a person at the ACTION OF PA Chester County Facebook webpage where I’d mentioned yesterday’s article about Gettysburg.

Actually the guy had a “wingman” (they often do).  The two anti-conservatives (or the same guy with two pen names) on duty there immediately went on the attack on my article of yesterday.

One wrote, “Romney is Santorum is Gingrich is Obama is Bush… All a sham man.. So tired & old.”

I do not know if by this he meant himself, his rhetoric or the candidates.

And immediately above brilliant riposte, another ally of Occupy Wall Street posted HIS attack on the SAME article I wrote.  Attacker number 2 attacked me by saying that (according to him) Rick Santorum says that Obama is the same as Romney.

Hilarious.

The two attackers essentially, shot each other – like a circulator firing squad – with their arguments.

They appear to not only NOT read what I wrote but not even what they each wrote attacking me.

And their attacks had NOTHING at all to do with my original REDSTATE article, but only PROVED my point: these guys (and them) hate us all the same.

(No.  Do not ask me why are they allowed to do this.   I have no idea. It is a Christian-Conservative group, so it says.  A rebuttal can be created and have its OWN Facebook page but, the attacks are right there on this groups page rather regularly).

Yes, it is laughable how these “not a dime’s worth of difference” guys attack you from BOTH directions and totally contradict each other in their attack.

But their “party line” or “bottom line” is always the same – the establishment, GOP, conservatives, Romney, Gingrich, Santorum, and you and me: all BAD, they complain.

“Overthrow it all, on with the Revolution, they are shout.

Exactly as the radical left of the 1960′s preached, and exactly as the Occupy Wall Street leftists and their libertarian/Ron Paul friends in the street at Gettysburg, say.

Anybody who would stand with those mad Barbarians in the Gettysburg street is not somebody I’d care to be associated with, not here, not on Facebook and most certainly not in real life.

The Occupy Wall Street leftists and those standing with them denouncing us all the time, there’s not a dime’s worth of difference” between YOU.  We conservatives are not “the establishment” but we will defend the American dream from your assault.

Thank you so much for reminding us who our real friends are.  Despite our differences, they are nothing compared to how we differ with you mad barbarians at the gate.

On Eve of Recalls, WEAC Turns to Alinsky Disciples For Community Organizing Help

[Madison, Wisconsin] Gearing up for increased political activism on the cusp of a campaign to recall Governor Scott Walker, the State’s teachers’ union is being guided by the philosophy of radical leftist Saul Alinsky, the MacIver News Service has learned.

On Friday and Saturday WEAC is sponsoring community organizing training seminars put on by the Industrial Areas Foundation.

The IAF is a leftist community organizing network established in 1940 by Saul Alinsky. Alinsky, author of the book Rules for Radicals, remains a controversial political figure many years after his death. Opposed to many of the bloody revolutionary strategies supported by his fellow radicals, Alinsky was guided by a neo-Marxist philosophy that promoted infiltration and gradualism over violent confrontation.

“A Marxist begins with his prime truth that all evils are caused by the exploitation of the proletariat by the capitalists,” Alinsky wrote. “From this he logically proceeds to the revolution to end capitalism, then into the third stage of reorganization into a new social order of the dictatorship of the proletariat, and finally the last stage — the political paradise of communism.”

According to a website promoting the WEAC training, “The workshop will provide an overview of key concepts and critical components essential to building strong locals and connecting those locals into a broad based organization necessary to create power. Special emphasis will be placed on the identification of leaders and the creation of local allies necessary to effect change at both the local community and state levels. The Leftist Rush To Silence Rush – Losers!


Rush Limbaugh is a consummate professional. His momentary lapse into the shadow-land which is the domain of the leftists and their symbiont media, where no standard is so low that it cannot be surpassed by something cruder, lower or slimier, was totally out of character. Not because of what Rush said, which in the pantheon of the left’s garbage grindings is indeed mild by any comparison… but we Conservatives are used to holding ourselves to a higher standard.

Rush doesn’t need me to defend him. His millions and millions of fans already have. The only surprise is that such things don’t happen to broadcasters more often. I did some broadcasting early in my post Marine Corps years to a live audience… and you can get into some surprising situations. There was always the possibility of an intemperate response to the listener who, for whatever reason, feels the need to bait the person behind the microphone. I’m not condoning it, but it happens. As usual, the line is drawn rigidly for Conservatives and loosely, or not at all, for our counterparts on the left.

When I first heard about this latest Conservative ‘bimbo‘ eruption, it was complete with the offended ’23-year-old’ co-ed, who turns out to be a 30-something femi-nazi who’s been around more times than a carousel. As always, it’s not the left’s front-page stories that we follow… that is, unless we feel the need for a little white noise. It’s the back stories we look for… the stuff they don’t want you to know.

The DeMarxists are remarkably consistent in the way that they present these ‘victims’. After all, the Maoists must have victimization in order to assert oppression, which is their other stock in trade. Then they bring on the Saul Alinsky tactic of isolating the target. In this case, Rush, but in a larger sense all of ‘new media’ talk radio.

The N.O.W. gang took time away from stirring their cauldrons to trumpet Rush’s demise. Craven DeMarxist politicians, who had remained mute while their Lame Stream operatives absolutely savaged conservative women with some of the foulest terms in the English language, called not only for Rush’s head but the abolition of all conservative talk radio. That old lizard, Gloria Allred, stuck her nose out from under her rock, scenting a headline.

A simultaneous assault against Rush’s advertisers resulted in a bare handful of faint-hearted departures, whose impact on Rush’s network was somewhat less than negligible. They were even more shocked when they realized that the whole incident was a tempest in a teacup and came scrambling back to the fold… or so they hoped… only to find that Rush had shut the barn door behind them. Well done, Rush!

Anyone who advertises in the Conservative media knows full well that we are subject to being jumped on at just about any time. If you don’t have the strength of your convictions, knowing that we face the type of opposition we do, you don’t belong here. And that’s the message Rush was sending. Pretty obviously, his twenty two million-something listeners agreed.

Well, the left is doing a severe gut (or something) check because none of it worked… none at all. They, of course, can’t figure it out. They were sure that they had Rush this time.

The DeMarxists called it “The war on women”. The results were more like “What if we held a war and no one came?” Looks like Obama may find out.

Obama – Rules for Radicals


This is the second article on our fallen economy during Obama’s 3 year term. Obama has betrayed our trust and is aggressively continuing his agenda to destroy America. The words traitor or dictator fit this person to a “T,” due to his mode of operation.

In 2009, this smooth talking orator knew his position as Commander in Chief bought him a lot of time, because we were struggling with the recession and many had bought his promises of “hope and change.” So before we even had a chance to take a second breath, he’s smoozed us into giving him 787 billion dollars in what he referred to as a stimulus plan.

In all actuality, he stole our 787 billion dollars rigidly following the “Rules for Radicals.” Looking back now to 2008, we can understand his comments when he said, “We are five days away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America.”

That was actually his signal to all of the puppeteers that had placed him in office that he was ready to start the process which was designed by Alinsky. “Take power from the Haves and give it to the Have Nots” – this is what we refer to as redistribution.

He hamstrung us right from the gecko aggressively attacking us by deftly increasing our National Deficit by trillions; this was intentional not due to his inability to balance a budget or his inability to lead our Nation. Just think about it – during this time the poor got poorer, the African Americans’ unemployment rate sky rocketed, millions of taxpayer’s lost their jobs and homes while Obama redistributed our money.

Month after month we’ve waited hoping for jobs, but that hasn’t happened. The Keystone Pipeline is a perfect example of the Obama dictatorship. The EPA studied this project for three years and Obama put the project on the back burner until 2013 rolls around.

Rather than bore everyone with repetitious information, the point of this article is this; we have a traitor and dictator in our midst actively destroying our beautiful America. This man is the disciplined puppet created by the Alinsky’s, Ayers, Soros, Unions and Special Interest groups and he’s performing with precision every directive that he’s been given.

The fourth year of his term will prove to be the most difficult year of our lives and he’s off and running the first week of 2012 as he continues his vicious destruction against our Nation. He’ll do anything it takes to secure the votes for his second term; he’s dangerous and definitely feels that he is above the laws of our land.

Without a second term, Obama’s plan will be a total failure; it will be costly but we will be able to survive the onslaught and recover.

His three recess appointees yesterday to the National Labor Relations Board are probably illegal, but he did this to appease the pro-union allies and the end result will be more support for his Presidential Campaign in 2012. Here’s an example of what Unions are doing in my State of Arizona.

Unions are struggling and are attacking the small construction companies in Arizona. Companies who have won bids for jobs are now being told that the Unions want to do away with residential and light commercial wages; the Unions want to adhere to the wage bracket that is used in big Commercial construction jobs meaning employee labor will skyrocket. Many of these smaller businesses will have to hire entirely all non-union labor which places them way behind due to the cost of hiring and orienting all new employees. Some will have to close their doors.

We have the AG (Eric Holder) who should have been removed from office at least a year ago ruthlessly attacking Joe Arpaio and the Maricopa County Sherriff’s office. Joe Arpaio said today on National Television that he’s willing to work with the DOJ and needs to know the specifics of their allegations. They refuse to offer him this information and pretty much said, “we’ll see you in court” – that is Obama’s way of pocketing Hispanic votes along with the memo to ICE to stop deportations.

He’s frantically spending money we don’t have creating a new Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, which is estimated to cost millions of taxpayer’s money. This is one more infringement on our rights and freedoms – we have plenty of rules, regulations and laws in place to protect consumers.

Obama will continue attacking our economy, stifling businesses, redistributing our money – everything he does will be an attempt to secure votes for the 2012 Presidential Election and strip of us of our rights and “God” given freedom. If we can prevent him from winning the election in 2012, keep control of the House and get control of the Senate we will be on our way in our fight to “Take Back Our Country.”

Lessons in Alinsky: An AFL-CIO Conference Teaches Targeting & Manipulating Workers


This past weekend, the AFL-CIO played host to “more than 800 young people” at a conference in Minneapolis in an effort energize young activists to go forth and multiply the members by targeting America’s youth. As noted last week, U.S. Labor Secretary Hilda Solis attended the organizing “summit” and the labor secretary used some of her 30-minute speech to call for passage of the AFL-CIO’s American Jobs Act, as well as to take potshots at the Tea Party (beginning at 29:00 here).

Interestingly, one of the documents linked on the conference website spelled out in greater candor why the AFL-CIO is trying so hard to attract younger members.

A poignant and stinging criticism of the Labor Movement appeared on the vehemently antiunion website www.unionfacts.com in 2006. It said, simply, “Pale. Stale. Frail. Failed.” Above those words was a picture of the AFL-CIO Executive Board, from before Change To Win defections. Sadly what made the criticism poignant was its accuracy. Nearly every face, with far too rare exception, was that of an older white male. A quick glance at the Massachusetts AFLCIO Executive Council reveals the same reality. The truth hurts sometimes. [Emphasis added.]

In addition to invoking the spirit of Marx and his ideological progeny in the AFL-CIO-endorsed Arab Spring uprisings, as well as the #OccupyWallSt campout, AFL-CIO boss Richard Trumka declared that unions and “people power” are the “most powerful force on the face of the earth for progressive values.”

As with all “community activist” organizations these days, according to the conference agenda, the AFL-CIO’s youthful attendees learned some basic tactics in Saul Alinsky’s strategies.

If Saul Alinksy’s Rules for Radicals is the heroin for hard-core community activists, the AFL-CIO’s conference youthful attendees were only given a little taste of Uncle Sauls elixir…

Sparking Trade Unionism and Labor Consciousness
Workplace democracy, solidarity, worker power, dignity and respect. These are core values of trade unionism. This workshop teaches participants how to talk to nonunion audiences about unions and build labor consciousness. Participants will learn effective ways to define what a union is, what it does and why unions are important. Participants also will learn techniques and simple exercises that can be used in large groups or during one-on-one conversations.

Elements of Issue Messaging
This workshop teaches core principles for developing a message on any topic, including message framing, imagery and values-based language. It will cover assessing your message’s strength in the face of opposition and how to deliver your message effectively in a one-on-one setting. This workshop offers a foundation for union organizing, political organizing, lobbying and press communication in a simple, easy-to-follow manner.

Moving Workers to Action Through One-on-One Conversations
The best way to move a worker to take action is face to face, and to have a productive conversation we need to have an agenda. This workshop will be a discussion of the one-on-one agenda we follow when talking with workers during an organizing campaign.

No. 2: “Never go outside the expertise of your people….”

Labor 101 for Non-Union Workers
As young activists, we do not always understand the roots of union work and the work that so many have done before us. We will examine the basics about labor unions, the issues they currently are engaged in and how they promote social and economic justice. We also will explore why America wins with union labor and products.

Comedy and Activism
Humor often can demonstrate a political point effectively and memorably, which is why so many campaigns find a way to mix comedy into their work. This workshop will discuss successful examples of campaigns using comedic videos, street theater and other creative actions to entertain as well as engage.

No. 6: “A good tactic is one your people enjoy.”

Power Analysis: Know Your Targets
Why are they so powerful? Since the rich keep getting richer, it’s our responsibility to understand the powerful networks of CEOs, corporations, elected officials and the webs of relationships connecting them to one another. The foundation of any successful organizing or advocacy campaign is a clear understanding of the power relationships of the target and the ability of the campaigners to affect those relationships. Lessons in Alinsky: An AFL-CIO Conference Teaches Targeting & Manipulating Workers


This past weekend, the AFL-CIO played host to “more than 800 young people” at a conference in Minneapolis in an effort energize young activists to go forth and multiply the members by targeting America’s youth. As noted last week, U.S. Labor Secretary Hilda Solis attended the organizing “summit” and the labor secretary used some of her 30-minute speech to call for passage of the AFL-CIO’s American Jobs Act, as well as to take potshots at the Tea Party (beginning at 29:00 here).

Interestingly, one of the documents linked on the conference website spelled out in greater candor why the AFL-CIO is trying so hard to attract younger members.

A poignant and stinging criticism of the Labor Movement appeared on the vehemently antiunion website www.unionfacts.com in 2006. It said, simply, “Pale. Stale. Frail. Failed.” Above those words was a picture of the AFL-CIO Executive Board, from before Change To Win defections. Sadly what made the criticism poignant was its accuracy. Nearly every face, with far too rare exception, was that of an older white male. A quick glance at the Massachusetts AFLCIO Executive Council reveals the same reality. The truth hurts sometimes. [Emphasis added.]

In addition to invoking the spirit of Marx and his ideological progeny in the AFL-CIO-endorsed Arab Spring uprisings, as well as the #OccupyWallSt campout, AFL-CIO boss Richard Trumka declared that unions and “people power” are the “most powerful force on the face of the earth for progressive values.”

As with all “community activist” organizations these days, according to the conference agenda, the AFL-CIO’s youthful attendees learned some basic tactics in Saul Alinsky’s strategies.

If Saul Alinksy’s Rules for Radicals is the heroin for hard-core community activists, the AFL-CIO’s conference youthful attendees were only given a little taste of Uncle Sauls elixir…

Sparking Trade Unionism and Labor Consciousness
Workplace democracy, solidarity, worker power, dignity and respect. These are core values of trade unionism. This workshop teaches participants how to talk to nonunion audiences about unions and build labor consciousness. Participants will learn effective ways to define what a union is, what it does and why unions are important. Participants also will learn techniques and simple exercises that can be used in large groups or during one-on-one conversations.

Elements of Issue Messaging
This workshop teaches core principles for developing a message on any topic, including message framing, imagery and values-based language. The best way to move a worker to take action is face to face, and to have a productive conversation we need to have an agenda. This workshop will be a discussion of the one-on-one agenda we follow when talking with workers during an organizing campaign.

As young activists, we do not always understand the roots of union work and the work that so many have done before us. We will examine the basics about labor unions, the issues they currently are engaged in and how they promote social and economic justice. Humor often can demonstrate a political point effectively and memorably, which is why so many campaigns find a way to mix comedy into their work. This workshop will discuss successful examples of campaigns using comedic videos, street theater and other creative actions to entertain as well as engage.

What Does Obama & Saul Alinsky Have in Common


Obama is hot on the trail attempting to win votes for the 2012 Presidential Election and earlier I mentioned he didn’t have an agenda, but I was wrong. He pulled out his old campaign speeches from 2008 and is actually giving us the second act of “Hope and Change.”

Nothing new, nothing different and he’s doing the same soft shoe dance and rabbit hat trick that he pulled in 2008.

He’s using Saul ALinsky’s rules for radicals and the Obama of 2011 has put on his community organizing hat and preparing to build his army; he preys on the minorities, the weak, the poor and the confused, which are the Hispanics, the African Americans, the helpless and our youth.

He aggressive and accelerating his attacks on Republicans, Conservative Democrats, the tea party and yes he’ll use Bush and God too as the reasons our Nation is struggling. His whole existence depends on his ability to distract, disorganize and divide the opposition.

Following Saul’s rules he will keep pouring fuel on the fire until he builds up an environment of anger, discontent and dissatisfaction with the Hispanic and African American Communities and our youth as we speak. Next, he will enlist Churches, Unions, ACORN, Special Interest Groups, gangs (if necessary) to carry his Idealistic torch for him.

Just like his 2008 campaign, Obama will lie, promise and guarantee that he is the light at the end of the tunnel. Nothing is based on truth or reality; everything is disguised and wrapped up in a pretty box called “hope and change.” His end goal is to create discontent laced with anger by telling his followers (The Have Nots) that they disserve what others have…

Obama will get on his stump and promise the Hispanics, our youth, the African Americans and poor that he will overpower the “Haves” by taking their money via (his jobs plan) and redistributing it to the “Have Nots.” Hopefully our youth, Hispanics, African Americans and the poor will not buy his canned speech the second time around.

Between now and October of 2012, the Obama Administration, the Liberal News Media, some of the Unions and Community Interest groups will attempt to create insecurity and discontentment within our Nation.

They will attack Conservative organizations, Republicans the tea parties, wealthy Americans and poor old President Bush; there will be lies on top of lies the next few months, because their job is to create dissatisfaction and keep the troops divided.

What Saul Alinsky looked for in a good organizer was one with a “god like ego,” irreverence (nothing is sacred) and someone with the ability to create problems. Does that description remind you of anyone in the White House?

Obama has his eye on two balls and he wants them both; (1) A second round of redistribution money via what he calls his job plan, and (2) A second term as Commander in Chief of the USA.

He’s jumped to the far left now and what you see is what you get – Obama is following Saul Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals to the last letter and dotted “I.” He will distract, divide and demoralize our Nation to further his agenda of “redistribution.” Obama doesn’t love our Country – he idolizes a broken down ideology that has never worked and will never work in our great Nation.

There Is No Easy Way Out.


And there hasn’t been for some time. Generations of politicians have kicked the budget and spending issues along their primrose paths seeking, as politicians will when not closely scrutinized, to enhance themselves and their hold on power by dispensing largess and favors at the expense of the American people.

Both parties are culpable here… no doubt about it. It’s also plain to anyone with other than a fundamental knowledge of history, that the Democrat Party has been infiltrated and fundamentally radicalized over the last 51 years, beginning in the 1960s.

As a budding investigative reporter in college, I infiltrated some SDS (Students for a Democratic Society) meetings. It was pretty much pure Marx. Their political activism was along the lines of Saul Alinsky’s rules for radicals, which is still the mother’s milk of DeMarxists today.

So we have the communists parading as social progressives, advancing more and more socialist aims, with a Republican Party and leadership only too happy to go along to get along with the Democrats and not be seen as the bad guys… A position they seemed to have a congenital affinity for letting the DeMarxist demagogues paint them into.

Now we’ve reached the moment of truth. The truth is that we are sick to death of government at all levels. The Marxist cabal, now calling itself our government, has for two years done every single thing in its considerable power to bring down the economy of the United States of America and its people.

The Marxist cabal is a failure, as all such Marxist schemes are, and the rats are starting to look over their shoulders looking for a place to bail when the crap hits the proverbial fan, which it will do before too long.

But in the meantime, there’s just this one nagging issue. Republicans… hear us well. You helped get us here. You’re only a little less culpable than the leftists. You begged us to help you get elected so you could lead the conservative charge to a smaller, fiscally responsible government with less business-killing regulation.

We won’t take a sellout… not now. The back-blast from a Republican sellout on this issue, by conservatives and patriots, will not be pretty… guaranteed.

Henry Kissinger thinks he knows YOUR future


Here is a chillingly prophetic piece dating from January 7, 2009. Think back, for a minute, to those days after Obama had been elected but before he’d been inaugurated… those days of “The Office of the President-Elect” and the cheap-imitation presidential seal… And then, only 25 days after this piece was written, Obama was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize — after being in office less than two weeks. I never saw this article at the time. As I read it today, I got goosebumps — and not the good kind — as I compared what we know now with what people such as Henry Kissinger were thinking 29 months ago as they looked forward to the age of “hope and change”….

WASHINGTON, DC, January 7, 2009 (LifeSiteNews.com) - In an interview with CNBC Monday, former US Secretary of State Henry Kissinger said that President-Elect Barack Obama’s most important, or defining task would be the creation of “a new world order.”

“The president-elect is coming into office at a moment when there is upheaval in many parts of the world simultaneously,” said Kissinger.

“Upheaval,” he says. Isn’t that cute? And that was before Greece went up in flames, Spain erupted in protests, Hezbollah dug in near Tijuana, Mexico descended into total chaos, North Korea sank a South Korean ship and attacked one of their islands, the Deepwater Horizon oil well blew out, China (or someone) test-fired a missile off the coast of Los Angeles, a Muslim U.S. Army doctor massacred soldiers at Ft. Hood, Iran started building missile bases in Venezuela, Christian churches got burned down everywhere from Iraq to Egypt, Mubarak got ousted, Iranian protesters got slaughtered in the streets, Libyan protesters got slaughtered in the streets, Syrian protesters got slaughtered in the streets, Bahraini protesters….  you know the rest. Kissinger continues:

“You have India, Pakistan; you have the jihadist movement. So he [Obama] can’t really say there is one problem, that it’s the most important one. But he can give new impetus to American foreign policy partly because the reception of him is so extraordinary around the world. [Right, Henry. Especially from the queen of England. And the prime minister of Israel. And French president Sarkozy.] I think his task will be to develop an overall strategy for America in this period when, really, a new world order can be created.”

“It’s a great opportunity, it isn’t just a crisis.”

Henry is sounding nearly word-for-word like Rahm Emanuel here. And Frances Fox Piven. And Saul Alinsky. Ah, yes, Kissinger the “community organizer” — who knew?

Some commentators have suggested that the highly escalated conflicts in the Middle East and the world financial crisis have made the time ripe for a long-anticipated and foreshadowed “New World Order” to come to fruition. Celebrated Canadian author Michael O’Brien, who has written extensively on the ‘new world order,’ spoke with LifeSiteNews.com about Kissinger’s statement.

“Only in one sense is Kissinger’s analysis correct,” said O’Brien. “The current world situation is presently one of a multitude of crises and at the same time a moment of opportunity. However, positing a leap towards what he calls a ‘new world order’ is fraught with difficulties.

“What does the term mean? In all likelihood it can only mean an imposed top-down global social-political revolution. In other words, solutions would then come from a reigning authority over all nations putting aside individual conscience and principles of national self-determination.”

O’Brien added: “A true and healthy order in the human community can only arise from an internal revolution of the moral order. It cannot be imposed without imposing greater ills. In all likelihood, Kissinger and like-minded globalists, see the present world configuration as a creative disintegration which would usher in a new form of world government. In such a situation, management by crisis overrides authentic exercise of human freedom and responsibility.”

Because the real agenda of the one-world control freaks revolves around global population control, pro-lifers have long been ahead of the game in recognizing the core dynamic of the globalists.

For pro-life advocates, the proposal of a ‘new world order’ has been linked to the anti-life principles promoted at the United Nations. Pope Benedict, while still a Cardinal, expounded on this matter in the introduction to a book published in 1997. Then-Cardinal Ratzinger wrote the preface to a book by Michel Schooyans, entitled “The Gospel: Confronting World Disorder.

…Ratzinger first denounces the “new world order” describing it as more or less a culmination of Marxism. He goes on to say that a Christian is “obliged to protest” against it.

Now, Christian protest, if it is truly Christian, will have a different character than Leftist/secular protests — both in what we advocate, and in how we advocate it. In my opinion, the starting point for every citizen who is a Christian should be signing the Manhattan Declaration of Christian Conscience.

As we stand for our principles in the political sphere, we need to always remember that the root problem is spiritual in nature, and that is where the real war must be fought, both within ourselves as individuals, and within the culture: “an internal revolution of the moral order,” in Michael O’Brien’s wise words.

The world-government control freaks and their initiatives, from the United Nations to the Bilderberg Group, from Agenda 21 to the Millennium Goals, represent a mind-set that, far from being limited to the Kissingers of the world conferring in dark-paneled rooms, is right out in the open and pervades our public life. That mind-set is materialism — the unspoken assumption that man is nothing more than an evolved combination of chemicals, therefore any individual life is worth little to nothing, and the great masses of human beings should be managed by their self-appointed “superiors.”

If there is no soul, if all that exists is what we see with our eyes, then why not have government-forced abortions in America, as Obama’s science czar, John Holdren, has advocated? If an individual life is worth nothing, then why not impose social conformity by “eliminating” 25 million Americans in “re-education camps,” as Obama’s friend Bill Ayers and his Weather Underground terror group once discussed?

It’s quite telling that Saul Alinsky, the father of “community organizing,” dedicated his book to Lucifer, a.k.a. Satan. You may recall that when Jesus was tempted in the desert, one of the temptations Satan proffered was global rule — worldly power — the only kind of power that an Alinsky, a Kissinger, or an Obama seems to recognize. But Jesus did not choose that kind of power. He chose — and enables every one of us to choose — the power of self-giving love. And that is the only power that can change the world for the better.

Surrendering Israel to Alinsky


Whenever self-anointed arbiter of border etiquette Barack Obama awkwardly interjects Scripture into a speech, his disingenuous inner core is exposed. Recently, in defense of an unaddressed porous US border, the President attempted to add weight to his argument by introducing Bible verse into the discussion. Barack misconstrued Scripture so badly he compared illegal usurpers with ancient Hebrews enslaved in a foreign land whose escape from bondage required ten plagues and Moses parting the Red Sea.

To support a liberal stance on amnesty, Bible opportunist Barack misquoted the Book of Deuteronomy citing “moral imperative” and “a greater understanding from our faith.”  In defense of officially pardoning illegal aliens and in an effort to cultivate guilt and project a false image of righteousness, Obama revealed a counterfeit identity by dragging out a Bible Bazooka and haphazardly shooting poorly-interpreted verse at those who oppose granting lawbreakers a reprieve.

In a more recent border debate, Obama requested Israel relinquish land to Ishmael. This time Obama supported the appeal by choosing to disregard Deuteronomy 30:5, which refers to Israel when it says: “The LORD your God will bring you into the land which your fathers possessed, and you shall possess it; and He will prosper you and multiply you more than your fathers.”

Although Obama attempts to prove otherwise, his Bible knowledge is clearly limited to specific, out-of-context verses scrolling by on the Teleprompter.  Yet, when quoting Saul Alinsky’s book, Rules for Radicals, a flow takes place that lacks the clumsiness of Barack misusing Scripture to lend validity to imprudent solutions to the U.S. border dispute.

Even Barack Obama is astute enough to realize that citing Scripture in a Middle East and North Africa speech would contradict the proposition of Israel surrendering God-given land to people who’ve vowed to push the Jewish nation into the sea. Instead, tucked within Obama’s proposal to core the apple of God’s eye lies a direct quote from a tactical primer promoting “realistic” radicalism.

Speaking from the State Department, self-appointed international border expert Barack Obama presented a “new chapter in American diplomacy” that includes advancing America’s values (as defined by Obama), as well as tried-and-true Obama-style change as it applies to the Israeli/Palestinian border dispute.

The President’s lengthy speech chronicled ongoing, rapid-fire adjustments presently coming about “Square by square, town by town, country by country,” in a portion of the world engulfed by a set of circumstances where “the people have risen up to demand their basic human rights,” in a manner strangely similar to the Saul Alinsky technique.

Speaking like a true community organizer, Obama said: “It’s not America that put people into the streets of Tunis or Cairo — it was the people themselves who launched these movements, and it’s the people themselves that must ultimately determine their outcome.”

In what sounded like the present state of affairs in America and Barack Obama’s Middle East rhetoric described an all too familiar “relentless tyranny…refusal to pay taxes to a king… power concentrated in the hands of a few” and “change that cannot be denied.”

Obama, who heartily sanctions the “slaughter of innocents…for a better life” in America, also argued that in the Middle East, “the slaughter of innocents [does] not answer [the people’s] cries for a better life.”

Slowly winding his way toward the borders of Israel, the President – broached “fresh air” in Cairo; the “end of night” in Sanaa; words of freedom in Bengazi; “dignity” in Damascus, and an expository review of the situation in Libya. Failing to provide details, Border Patrol President Obama warned, “We will not tolerate aggression across borders, and we will keep our commitments to friends and partners,” a pledge that came with a committed resolve to “change our approach” to avoid a “spiraling of division” between the US and the Arab world.

Then, in order to avoid further division, in a telling use of words Obama, clearly more familiar with Saul Alinsky than Saul of Tarsus, took Middle East cues not from the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, but rather from Alinsky’s controversial handbook Rules for Radicals.

Alinsky tenets maintain that: “The standards of judgment must be rooted in the whys and wherefores of life as it is lived, the world as it is, not our wished-for fantasy of the world as it should be.“ Based on the President’s constant promotion of reckless chaos, one would assume Obama’s world is not a world as he thinks it should be – at least not yet.

Without a doubt, the President’s ‘standards of judgment’ remain ‘rooted in’ more concern over Palestinian border issues than those of Arizona, Texas and California.  Which may explain why Barack chose to insert Alinsky principles into the Middle East solution when he said: “after decades of accepting the world as it is in the region, we have a chance to pursue the world as it should be.”

Obama’s ‘wished-for fantasy’ concerning Israel was revealed with the shocking suggestion that 40+ years later the “borders of Israel and Palestine should be based on the 1967 lines with mutually agreed swaps, so that secure and recognized borders are established for both states.”

America’s President explicitly stated “The United States,” which in his mind is represented solely by the opinions of Barack Obama, “believes that negotiations should result in two states, with permanent Palestinian borders with Israel, Jordan, and Egypt, and permanent Israeli borders with Palestine.”

Texas and California should proceed with caution, because with Alinsky’s Lucifer-lauding “world as it should be” guiding the way the next thing Obama may decide to do in an initial effort to resolve yet another border crisis is to return the two states to Mexico.

Either way, one important issue has finally been resolved.  In a misguided attempt to grant America’s Promised Land to illegals through the exploitation of out-of-context Scripture and then the attempt to deny the actual Promised Land to its rightful heirs using a quote from the mouth of an atheistic mentor, the world as Barack Obama believes “it should be” has been finally been laid bare.
